Vote Marlena Edmondson on May 5!

As a State Senator, I will bring a practical people-centered approach to lawmaking, grounded in evidence, shaped by community input, and focused on long-term impact.

  • Student readiness to learn, so classrooms can focus on education, not crisis management.

  • Affordability and opportunity, so working families can build stable lives and thrive in Indiana.

  • Support for families, recognizing that stability strengthens communities.

  • Respect for work, including fair compensation and dignity across professions.

  • Integrity and transparency, so Hoosiers know who their government works for.

What I’ll fight for

marlena’s Story

Marlena was born and raised in Tippecanoe County, where she faced the challenges of growing up in a low-income family as a first-generation college student. Driven by her experiences, she pursued degrees in Political Science and Social Work, and upon graduating, returned to her hometown to give back to the community that supported her family.

For 14 years, Marlena has dedicated herself to serving children and families as an exceptional social worker in child welfare, juvenile justice, and public education. Witnessing the increasing struggles faced by families and children, she recognizes the urgent need for change. The hard work that once brought hope and stability is no longer enough; families across our community are in crisis.

Miss Edmondson is prepared to look beyond the walls of her office. She is ready to stand up and advocate for families at the state capitol. It is time to replace career politicians with genuine representatives who prioritize the needs of the people and who demonstrate integrity and transparency. Marlena Edmondson is that leader—ready to be your voice and champion for positive change.
